CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Santa Claus made a special visit to the South Carolina Aquarium on Friday. Complete with a scuba mask and oxygen tank, he got hands-on with the sea creatures and educated visitors on life in the sea.

It wasn't the first time Santa has taken a dive in the Great Ocean Tank, and it won't be the last. "Scuba Claus" will visit the tank daily at 3 p.m. through December 23.

In addition to getting a glimpse at Scuba Claus, visitors to the aquarium have the opportunity to watch The Polar express at the aquarium's 4-D theatre. You'll feel like you are part of the movie as you experience snow falling, the rumbling of the train and the smells of the holiday season. Theatre tickets can be purchased with a value pass to the aquarium or individually. Members receive over 50 percent off 4-D tickets.
