CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - It will soon be a lot more convenient to go shopping in downtown Charleston because a new shuttle will take shoppers around town.

The shuttle service will take you around King Street, across Broad, East Bay, Market and Meeting streets. The shuttle will be free to ride.

Starting next month, walkers will have King Street all to themselves for one day a month.

The plan is called "Second Sunday." On Oct. 10, cars will be blocked off, so you can shop and dine in the street.
