Charleston, S.C.- They are dreaming up imagination one project at a time. A child's mind is so creative, you just have to give them ideas and activities that help to develop and foster that creativity and that's just what they do at the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry.

Robin Berlinsky stopped by Lowcountry Live this morning to tell us about the newest interactive items they have at the museum, one of which is a robot exhibit! Kids have the chance to play with robots that move, pick things up, and all kinds of other things while at the museum all thanks to a new robotics club! Thanks to a grant from MUSC, the robotics club has been made possible at the Children's Museum. Your child must apply in order to be in the club and the museum is accepting applications from children in Kindergarten and up!

For more information on the children's museum and the robotics club, you can visit the museum's website at explorecml.org.

Also on tap for the day, we learned how to make "super balls"! Its so easy and parents can help their kids make these cool toys with items that you already have in your home! Taking one tablespoon of water and one tablespoon of Elmer's glue and stir the two together! Once you have that mixture, in a separate bowl you will want to stir one tablespoon of borax (which is a form a clothes detergent) and then a tablespoon of water and mix those two. When you have finished that, you will want to add this mixture to the other mixture and stir vigorously. Then you take what's left and start rolling it in your hands! You will eventually have a product that is gooey but it will get harder as you roll and end up being somewhat like a ball! Take that and put it in an airtight plastic bag and wait 24 hours, when you come back your kids will have a ball, LITERALLY!
